Black Friday 2026 Buying Calendar: Adobe Says TVs Peak November 27, Electronics Wait for Cyber Monday

Black Friday is still over a month away — it falls on November 27 this year — but shoppers who plan ahead now have a clearer map of when the best prices will actually appear. Adobe’s latest holiday shopping forecast suggests the deepest discount depends heavily on what you are buying, and that the day with the famous name is not the best day for everything.

Different days for different deals

According to the forecast, sporting goods are expected to be cheapest on Thanksgiving. Black Friday itself should bring the best deals on TVs, toys, apparel, appliances and furniture. Electronics and computers, however, may be worth holding off on until Cyber Monday, November 30, which Adobe expects to favor those categories. In other words, there is no need to buy anything yet — but there is real value in knowing which day favors which product before the sales begin.

How the discounts build

Adobe expects discounts to improve gradually as November progresses, reaching as much as 14% off listed prices in early November and about 21% just before Thanksgiving. The deepest cuts — up to 30% — are expected during Cyber Week, the five-day stretch from Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday.

The strategy that follows from the data is straightforward. Make your list now, note the day your category is expected to peak, and set a target price rather than chasing every early promotion. Early sales can still be worth it when a price matches the forecast peak or an item is likely to sell out — but for big electronics especially, patience until Cyber Monday looks like the better bet this year.
