BJ’s Starts Black Friday Early on October 23: Up to 40% Off Electronics, 30% Off Home and Kitchen

Black Friday is arriving more than a month early at BJ’s Wholesale Club. The warehouse retailer has announced that its Early Black Friday event begins on Friday, October 23, with deals running both in its clubs and online — giving members a head start on holiday gifts and household upgrades long before the traditional late-November crush.

The headline savings are spread across the store. Members can save up to 40% on select electronics, up to 30% on select home and kitchen products, and up to 20% on select toys. Toy shoppers get an extra sweetener: an additional 10% off their entire toy purchase with a coupon, alongside free shipping on select items. Free delivery is also offered on select electronics, which matters on big-ticket buys like large-screen TVs.

Deal coverage of the event has flagged the kinds of name-brand items members can expect, including a Samsung 85-inch U8000HD Crystal UHD 4K Smart TV, Sony wireless noise-canceling headphones and a Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 laptop on the electronics side, plus a Frigidaire touchscreen nugget ice maker, a Cuisinart Smart Stick immersion blender and a Dyson V10 cordless stick vacuum in home and kitchen. Featured toys include an Elf on the Shelf bundle, Tytan magnetic tiles and a Hot Wheels remote-control set.

The practical case is simple: popular TVs, laptops and toys are exactly the items that sell out or see thinner discounts once November arrives. BJ’s also says its regular Black Friday deals will still land in late November, so members who miss this round get a second chance — but the earliest selection is available from October 23.
